Serving Meals to the Homeless at ARCH
We all see the homeless on the drag and around town every day and wonder how best to help them. The Austin Research Center for the Homeless serves dinner to homeless men every night. Smart Start is an after school tutoring program for children of all ages located in the St. John's neighborhood of East Austin. Volunteers are needed to help teach M-Th from 1-4 in the afternoons, any time you can give would be appreciated. For more information contact 512.371.9393Westminster Manor
Westminster Manor is a retirement home in Austin and a few families from the PCA churches in the area host a vespers service for the residents there. They meet monthly on Sunday evenings to worship, teach, and share the love of Christ with these elders in the faith.
