Benjie Slaton

Campus Minister

Benjie and Natalie Slaton are both originally from Dallas. After growing up in the same Lake Highlands neighborhood, both attending SMU, and Benjie begging for years, Natalie finally came around. They fell in love and were married after graduation from SMU in November 1998. After two years working in the Dallas, the Slatons moved to Jackson, Mississippi, where Benjie attended Reformed Theological Seminary. Following graduation in May 2003, the Slatons returned home to Texas to work for RUF at the Univeristy of Texas. They have become unabashed Lornghorn fans...until the Pony Express rides again, that is.

While Benjie hangs out at cool coffee shops, Natalie prides herself as working as chef, maid, taxi service, art director, lincoln log architect, and unofficial nurse/pediatrician around our house.

Benjie and Natalie are the proud parents of three children:
Elise, the princess is 6.
Sam, wild man is 3 1/2.
Andrew, "the smiling one" is almost 1.
